Not surprising: returner Trevor Davis is done for the year after the Green Bay Packers activated Jake Kumerow from injured reserve. Surprising: defensive tackle Mike Daniels is done for the year, as well.
Both players were put on injured reserve on Saturday.
Daniels injured his foot against Seattle. He missed the loss to the Vikings.
And so what happens now?
Packers activated WR Jake Kumerow from reserve/injured; designated for return, signed FB Danny Vitale to the active roster from the practice squad and placed DL Mike Daniels and WR Trevor Davis on injured reserve.

The Packers have a fullback again!
Shit. We were talking about the Aaron Rodgers’ mustache turning the season around, but this is the move!
The Packers used to have three fullbacks. Remember that?
I can name them for you: cult hero John Kuhn, Quinn Johnson and Korey Hall.
Bam!
And then, all of a sudden, nothing. Aaron Ripkowski, The Ripper, released before the season! Joe Kerridge? Didn’t make the roster either. Both guys had two-plus years with the team.
And now the man is Danny Vitale. Sixth-round pick of the Buccaneers in 2016. Practice squad. Signed by the Browns. Released earlier this year. Packers practice squad. And now… active fucking roster!
I hope this dude can play defensive tackle.
On another note, Mike Daniels’ season stats: 18 tackles, two sacks. Meh!
The Packers are worse without Daniels, but do better for $10 million per season, please.
