Is he or isn’t he? Aaron Rodgers is eligible to return from injured reserve this week for the Green Bay Packers. We already pretty much know he will.
The playoffs — the dim hopes that the Packers have — are on the line.
Rodgers is the man to lead them there.
Will he? Is he able to?
Packers coach Mike McCarthy would not discuss that after the game.
“We love Aaron Rodgers, but I will not answer any questions about him today,” McCarthy said. “This is about winning the game, and he’s still in the medical situation and as soon as we have the information we’ll try to get it to you.”
Clearly, McCarthy was trying not to take anything away from Brett Hundley’s effort, which was nice — 265, three touchdowns.
However, if the Packers are going into the playoffs or even have a shot, it’s a Aaron Rodgers who is taking them there.
Brett Hundley got them to where they are though. So, as they say, let’s celebrate the win tonight and then turn our focus to the Carolina Panthers tomorrow.
