And Here’s the Aaron Jones’ Arrest Video

Aaron Jones arrest

Green Bay Packers rookie running back (and leading rusher) Aaron Jones was arrested on October 1 for a marijuana offense. That just came to light this week.

Somehow, TMZ already has the arrest video. Since the video was shot on the cop car’s dash cam, you’d have to think someone from the police department leaked it. They were probably paid handsomely to do so. I hope they lose their job. Public records requests do not come through in a few days.

That aside, you probably want to see it. And of course, it’s our duty to show it to you.

Jones does not fare well on the field sobriety test. He also makes the mistake of admitting he smoked weed. Never tell a pig anything without a lawyer present. They’re not your friend, even if they have a hokey accent. I seem to find myself saying that a lot lately.

  1. If only Jones would have been as reluctant to say he was chilling out earlier in the day as he was in not pulling the Don’t you know I’m a Packer card.

Except for admitting to partaking (who knows how much) and admitting he had more at home. I think Jones could make the case that the road he took the test on was to steep throwing off his balance. If that was the only on site or off site test.

Howard, puhleez. This guy is an athlete! A well paid one at that. His skills in balance and dexterity should be much better than mere mortals such as you and I. It is not like they hauled him over to the railroad tracks and had him walk on a rail. He’s messed up. He’s using his arms for balance on what is a pretty flat paved road with a gentle slope uphill from where they are field testing. He’s not walking the line in a bouncy house.

He’s a kid who has some serious growing up to do. I hope he does. I think the organization has people on staff to tell him, “Young MAN. You are a PROFESSIONAL football player. Wake and bake is not on the list of acceptable things to do for the team and the league. You are way too new at this to claim you’re treating some old “chronic pain” sort of thing so grow the f–k up.”

I see Mordy shops for socks at the same store Colin K does too.

      • Have to agree with you about Jones needing to grow up. Sometimes kids do dumb things and they learn from those mistakes. It looks like Jones was being up front with the officer. Or was he? I find it hard to believe Jones smoked approx. four hours earlier and could not pass a test. Unless Jones was smoking closer to the time he was picked up.

Although I do not agree with Mordi’s description of the officer. Jones should have put this in the hands of his attorney. Just like you don’t think the road is steep. I think the video shows it to be very steep. I agree that Jones is an athlete, but an attorney would counter that Jones had just played his first NFL game with extended carries on Thursday night 60 short hours earlier. Jones entire body including his knees, hips, ankles, and feet were very sore and stiff from his first heavy NFL action. Jones may be an athlete at a level higher than us mortals, but how many of us know how sore and stiff our body would be after so many hits Jones took from other athletes 2.5 short days earlier. The officer put Jones and his body parts that were still trying to recover under a test with out knowing the condition of those crucial body parts being tested. Jones should of from a legal stand point kept quiet. It does make one wonder if Jones knew he had just smoked some weed and knew the officer could easily smell it.
