Fairley was a problem when he first came to the Detroit Lions, but he appears to have cleaned up his act. He registered 29 tackles and half a sack with the Rams in 2015 as a rotational player. Those are pretty good numbers for a rotational defensive lineman. Unlike most of these guys, where you know what you’re getting, Fairley is the rare exception that might still have some potential. He had 11.5 combined sacks for the Lions in 2012 and 2013. He won’t be expensive and could be worth a flyer.
