Remember when Colin Kaepernick and his San Francisco 49ers owned the Green Bay Packers? That sure seems like a long time ago.
Kaepernick seems to have regressed and the 49ers as a team are garbage this season.
That was on display on Thursday Night Football, where the 49ers got blasted by the Seattle Seahawks, 20-3.
And by the way, anyone who’s trying to sell the Seahawks being the class of the NFC West today can go fuck themselves. A mediocre Seattle team beat up on a bad 49ers team. That does not make them the class of the NFC West all of a sudden or cover up all of their flaws.
At any rate, Kaepernick.
We don’t cheer for a lot of guys to fail, especially ones from Wisconsin, such as Kaepernick is.
His Seattle counterpart (and Badger great) Russell Wilson, for example. No problem with him. Generally think he’s a good guy and appreciate him as a player. Just can’t stand his team.
Kaepernick — not so.
And that’s probably because he’s always come off as arrogant and smug, particularly in the years the 49ers were thrashing the Packers on a consistent basis.
So we don’t really mind that he and his team look like dogshit pretty much every week, right now. Here’s a prime example.
Better pay attention if you’re standing on the sideline at Levi’s Stadium. You might just get blasted in the face by an errant Kaepernick toss.
