[tps_title]26. Denver Broncos[/tps_title]
Horrible. Garish, bright orange and navy, with lettering ripping off the Chicago Bears, but none of the subtlety or austerity that are hallmarks of truly classic design, because crossing classic design elements with the faddy, Arena League design elements that were favored in the mid 1990s never works. This unappealing design of the Broncos uniforms is only enhanced by a busy horse logo that is far too ornate to be a symbol.
The open mouth gives the steed a lifeless, artificial appearance. Is it opening wide to say “ah,” or to swallow something big? Attempts at having streamlined contours make it look hardly like a horse at all, but definitely date its design to its time — the mid to late 90s — and almost certainly borrowed from an untold number of nondescript logos from the ranks of colleges and minor leagues, past and present. While not great, the orange crush worn in the 70s and 80s were so much better.
