If there’s any question who the greatest coach in the history of football is, then you have a problem. It’s Vince Lombardi. Lombardi’s teams won NFL championships in 1961, 1962 and 1965 and then won the first two Super Bowls. His 1962 team is considered one of the best ever. He never had a losing record as a coach, but most impressive is this — Lombardi had a 9-1 playoff record. When the Packers got to the playoffs under Lombardi, there was a real good chance they weren’t losing. Hell, the NFL named the Super Bowl trophy after the guy.
