The Packers running backs were nothing special in 2012, although DuJuan Harris came on late. Earlier in the offseason, Mike McCarthy said Harris was going to be one of his guys in 2013.
Then the Packers went out and drafted Eddie Lacy in the second and Johnathan Franklin in the fourth. What that means for Harris only time will tell, but it could mean he ends up selling cars again.
Then there’s Alex Green and James Starks. One was unproductive and became an afterthought in 2012. The other is always injured and was actually on the trading block during the draft. No takers. Big surprise.
If one or both of these guys aren’t on the street come September, we’ll be surprised.
