Killing the Seahawks and the Packers’ Big Turnaround

Jordy Nelson scores against Seattle

The Green Bay Packers are on a three-game win streak and have completely turned their season around. They now look like a legitimate playoff team after sending the hated Seattle Seahawks packing.

A large part of the reason for the destruction of Seattle lies with the ineptness on the Seahawks. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks’ receivers gave the Packers a number of gifts on this date. Still, the Packers took full advantage and handed Seattle their worst loss since 2011.

The Packers even gave the Seahawks a nice little fuck you by running up the score at the end, something Seattle is known to do. This is a legitimate rivalry and although the Seahawks have the edge in the win column, that really doesn’t speak to how well the Packers have played or how badly the Seahawks have played in those games.

The big picture is the complete 180 the Packers have done since losing four in a row earlier this season, however. We’re going to discuss the guys primarily responsible for that turnaround — Aaron Rodgers, Davante Adams, Ty Montgomery and a secondary that looks like it’s starting to get healthy.

There are definitely still concerns with the Packers moving forward, of course. Run defense is one of them.

For now, let’s revel in this one and take it one game at a time moving forward. The Packers keep winning and everything should take care of itself.
