Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings is one of the best in the game, but he’s getting his motivation from someone who’s a little better — Arizona Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald. Fitzgerald is a five-time Pro Bowler and one of the hardest workers in the NFL. Jennings, who has four fewer Pro Bowl selections, began working out with Fitzgerald in Arizona this week, under former NFL receivers coach Jerry Sullivan.
Seven Green Bay Packers made CBSSports.com senior writer Pete Prisco’s top 100 NFL players of 2011 list. The top-ranked Packer should come as no surprise. QB Aaron Rodgers came in at No. 6 overall — behind Texans wideout Andre Johnson, Raiders cornerback Nmandi Asomugha, Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware and (puke) quarterbacks Tom Brady and Peyton […]
Back in April of last year, some dude became a YouTube sensation when he uploaded a video of a particular Madden play where he, as Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings, went 99 yards on a broken leg for a touchdown.
The commentary is pretty awesome, but completely NSFW.
In what seems to be pretty much a weekly occurrence, a member of the Green Bay Packers will be handed an NFC Player of the Week award. This time, receiver Greg Jennings will get the offensive award. Jennings had seven catches for 152 yards and three touchdowns in the Packers rout of the Minnesota Vikings, […]
Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings is playing some outstanding football of late. In the last five games, Jennings has 32 receptions for 520 yards and six touchdowns. Those are pretty nice numbers, especially when compared to his first five games — 14 receptions for 183 yards and three touchdowns. Additionally, Jennings’ targets have increased […]
Apparently, Green Bay Packers’ receiver Greg Jennings can do more than catch footballs and run fast. Or, at least, we’ll see… Jennings will make his acting debut Wednesday on the CBS drama Criminal Minds, where he plays a lab technician. Jennings’ appearance is brief – only one scene – but he does have a few […]
Taking a page out of Keyshawn Johnson’s book, Green Bay Packers’ receiver Greg Jennings has put the team on notice: just give me the damn ball! Actually, those weren’t Jennings’ exact words – that’s the title of Keyshawn’s book – but the sentiment was the same. Jennings, who has a measly 11 catches for 240 […]
To quote The Jeffrey Lebwoski, the plan has crashed into the mountain. More painfully one sided than the close score suggests, yesterday’s Green Bay Packers’ 31-24 defeat to the lowly Cincinnati Bengals exposed more weaknesses and vulnerabilities for the Packers. The Packers’ offensive line play was even shakier than last week and aside from a […]
As we reported earlier, Green Bay Packers receiver Greg Jennings is about to get paid. ESPN says the deal isn’t finalized. However, earlier, Milwaukee’s Fox 6 reported that it was. So let me cut through the bullshit – Jennings deal is all but signed. As ESPN reports, the Packers will pay Jennings $27 million in […]
Update: Milwaukee’s Fox 6 has reported that Jennings’ deal is done. The deal is expected to make him the second highest paid receiver in the game, behind Arizona’s Larry Fitzgerald. More on the actual numbers as they become available. It’s the good, the bad and the ugly at Green Bay Packers minicamp this week (although […]
As the Green Bay Packers open their first mandatory minicamp of the offseason today, the biggest question is whether safety Nick Collins will practice. Collins, the Packers starting strong safety last season, made a brief appearance in Green Bay last week – only the second day he showed up at any of the Packers OTAs. […]
The 2009 free agency signing period begins on February 27 and the Green Bay Packers are in very good shape, at approximately $25 million below the projected $123 million salary cap. Before we reveal our list of free agency demands for 2009, let’s take a look at the Packers own free agents. The most substantial […]
Every week the Green Bay Packers are starting to look more and more like a team that simply won’t live up to expectations. Yesterday, the Packers lost yet another close game to an inferior opponent, this time, 28-27 to the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers should be better than this. Maybe it’s time to accept that […]
