why aren’t the pack going after Darren Sharper? he had an amazing year last year, the only better db was Charles Woodson. the packers need more depth and experience there as well. there is no reason not to pursue him. plus he was a packer and was great.
For another possibility at outside linebacker, why doesn’t GB’s TT take a look at the young linebacker from Alabama, who was not even chosen…great blocker and great hands, better than average speed, good balance….he certainly deserves an invoite to rookie day. Denny

You are an idiot. Yes Rodgers did not play well, and made a couple big mistakes. He is playing without a running back, and then you take his best receiving weapon away, Finley. Not to mention their offensive line problems. You have to expect their offensive struggles are probably not going to get any better anytime soon. If you think a quarterback who has thrown for 4000+ yards in his first two seasons as a starter sucks… like I said, you are an idiot. I have yet to see this if it was not for the good offenses he has had the opportunity to coach opposite of he would look like the idiot he is. The packers need to get a real DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR. One who knows that you do not have to count to 10 before rushing in the NFL. One who teaches tackling and not just worried about interceptions. There is allot more to Defense than just interceptions.
Mike McCarthy has lost two post-season games in a row by substantial margins. It is time to move on. I don’t want to hear another post-game press conference about correcting the “pad level” or returning to fundamentals. It is like the 20th game of the year already.
McCarthy should have left A Rod in before going to the backup Brees as the NFC was ahead before the switich. Crucial error in letting Brees try that dropkick extra point, which turned it into a three score deficit–bad kick? No, bad coaching. Also should not have let Clay lateral so much after the interception. Player evaluations?
A Rod, score on onl 75 percent of his possessions, needs correction and improvement.
Clay. Never got to blitz, might as well put him in the line and drop Raji back and let him just occupy a zone.
Raji. Leading on the blocker like a drunk at a bar. Hawiaan shirt made by a tentmaker.
Gonzales. Like JerMichael with hands
Woodson. Should have been moved to safety
Wells. Uncomfortable with Brees’ hands under his butt instead of A Rod’s
tackling. There was none, it looked like a 9th grade dance when someone turns the lights on unexpectedly–awkward and disgusting
Prospects. TT should trade for that AFC guy who caught all the touchdowns to bolster the receiving corps. Driver is out.
Lynch. Not great but better than Hawk, for whom he should have been traded, who didn’t even make the Pro Bowl ballot
Prospects for 2012. Must get rid of Capers whose defense wasted a lead and gave up 59 points in three quarters. Trade for Jared Allen, A Rod for President.
