Non-tendered
Not to say it hasn’t happened, but we don’t recall a time in the Ted Thompson era when an exclusive rights or restricted free agent hasn’t been tendered. The Packers gave up their rights to both of these guys.
Jarrett Boykin — Carolina signed Boykin after the Packers let him go and he wasn’t able to make the team. Boykin spent the season out of football before getting signed by the Bills earlier this month.
DuJuan Harris — It took a while and whole hell of a lot of injuries for Harris to find a home. It didn’t happen until late in the season, first in Seattle and then in San Francisco. Both teams’ backfields were decimated by injury and they brought in Harris for two games each. He gained 189 yards on 48 carries between the two NFC West teams.
