The Green Bay Packers cracked the top 10 of the Forbes’ list of the NFL’s most valuable franchises for the first time.
They were 13th on the same list last year and are the 29th most valuable franchise in all of sports, according to Forbes.
The Packers are valued at $1.95 billion.
Leading the list for the ninth year in a row are the Dallas Cowboys, who, for the first time, hit a $4 billion valuation.
The Chicago Bears are the only NFC North team ahead of the Packers, coming in at No. 8, with a $2.45 billion valuation.
Following Dallas in the top five are New England, Washington, the Giants and San Francisco.
The 49ers are the only new entry in the top 5, primarily because of that fancy new stadium they have.
With all of the development the Packers currently have going on around Lambeau Field, we expect them to continue to rise up this list in future years.
Too bad we don’t get any dividends on that worthless stock.
