When the Green Bay Packers released their injury report this week, something didn’t look quite right. There was no T.J. Lang.
That’s the first time since week 8 that the Packers starting right guard’s name wasn’t on the injury report.
Lang injured his ankle against New Orleans and had been limited in practice ever since. But not anymore, and it seems a good a time as any for Lang to be healthy.
“This bye week definitely helped out a lot, but really the last two games of the regular season I noticed that it wasn’t really hindering me as much as I thought it would,” Lang said. “It’s been feeling pretty good. I don’t know if it’s 100 percent, but it’s pretty darn close. It’s good to see my name finally off the injury report.”
Now, if you’re wondering about Josh Sitton, the Packers left guard — he will eternally be on the injury report. At least as long as this season goes on.
Sitton has a torn ligament in his big toe, which may require surgery in the offseason. So he’ll keep playing and he’ll keep showing up on the injury report.
