The Green Bay Packers have listed right tackle Bryan Bulaga as questionable for Sunday’s game.
Bulaga is still going through the concussion protocol.
This should probably not worry you at all. Eddie Lacy was still going through the protocol at this time last week. He was also listed as questionable and he ended up starting. By all accounts we’ve heard, Bulaga appears to be ahead of where Lacy was at this time last week. We fully expect he’ll be in the starting lineup.
If for some odd reason, he isn’t, J.C. Tretter would get the start. Tretter played well in place of Bulaga against Buffalo, but most people only noticed that he was the guy blocking Mario Williams when Williams knocked the ball out of Aaron Rodgers’ hand for the game-clinching safety.
We would make the argument that was more Rodgers’ fault than Tretter’s.
Nevertheless, it’s about to be a moot point.
In less surprising injury news, the Packers have ruled cornerback Davon House out. House has a shoulder injury and although he is said to be improving, it never seemed like a possibility that he’d return this week.
