Neither of the Green Bay Packers’ starting guards did much in practice this week, but both T.J. Lang and Josh Sitton are obviously going to play on Sunday.
Lang, who has a sprained ankle, was limited in practice on Thursday. He had a similar workload on Friday. Sitton, who has a torn ligament in his big toe, hasn’t done much of anything all week.
Nonetheless, both guys were listed as probable on the injury report.
And there’s no reason to think they wouldn’t play this week, since they both played last week after being listed as questionable.
“T.J. and Josh had a good day yesterday,” coach Mike McCarthy said Friday. “[They are] going through the rehab today and just doing all the light work.”
While Lang appears to improving, albeit slowly, Sitton has an injury that’s probably going to require surgery after the season. We would be surprised if he practices much at all for the rest of the year.
In other injury news, both tight end Brandon Bostick and linebacker Jayrone Elliott (remember him?) are out.
