Tramon Williams, the second of the Green Bay Packers’ starting cornerbacks to go down with an injury against Miami, did not suffer a serious injury.
The same was said about Sam Shields on Sunday.
Williams injured his ankle a few plays after Shields injured his knee in the game. I didn’t see the injury, but I was told that Brad Jones rolled into Tramon and caused it. And since Brad Jones is the root of all evil, I’m going to choose to believe that whether it actually happened or not.
YOU INFERNAL SONOFABITCH, BRAD JONES!!!
But anyway, there’s apparently no major damage, only some swelling. That sounds like an ankle sprain in my professional opinion.
Now, hopefully it’s not a high ankle sprain because that sort of sprain typically renders a guy useless for weeks on end. For example, if Brad Jones were an injury, he would be a high ankle sprain.
Something you wish would go away, but just won’t.
So, does Buffoon have a timeline for Tramon? No he does not. Nor does he have one for Shields or Jamari Lattimore, who injured his neck.
It sounds as if they’re all going to be day-to-day this week, however.
