Ah, the news just keeps getting better. But you knew this was coming, didn’t you? Green Bay Packers right tackle Bryan Bulaga reportedly has a sprained MCL.
Bam!
Packers OT Bryan Bulaga tore his MCL in the Thursday night opener, per source. Undetermined how much time he might miss.

Bulaga hurt his knee — the same knee he suffered a torn ACL in last season — in the second quarter of Thursday’s debacle. If there’s good news, it’s only that he didn’t tear his ACL again.
The severity of the injury will determine how long Bulaga is out.
These injuries don’t necessarily require surgery and Bulaga will mostly likely be fine just resting it. Of course, it may take up to eight weeks for the injury to fully heal.
And if that’s the case, we’re pretty sure the Packers will be 0-9 by that point.
Bulaga’s replacement, Derek Sherrod, is just that bad. The Packers would be better off taping two tight ends together and having them play right tackle.
Now, if you had an doubts about Bulaga being injury-prone, you can put those to rest. He is.
In 2011, he missed four games. In 2012, he missed seven. In 2013, he missed all of them.
The only season Bulaga has been able to play start to finish was his rookie campaign of 2010.
