And he’s right.
The Green Bay Packers have their first matchup of the season with the Detroit Lions on Sunday. We don’t possess near the hatred for them as we do the Minnesota Vikings and, to a lesser degree, the Chicago Bears, mostly because the Lions are pretty much an eternal laughingstock.
Remember that meltdown down the stretch last season? Had the division won and then totally shit the bed!
That is SO Detroit Lions!
Anyway, that’s not to suggest the Lions aren’t dislikable. I mean, they employ probably the biggest piece of shit in the entire NFL in Ndamukong Suh.
Seriously, that guy is an unaccountable fuck who believes the rules do not apply to him and he just might stomp on your throat if you disagree with him. That’s probably why he gets to play in Detroit.
The karma of being a loser forever is just what that shitstain deserves.
At any rate, Packers guard Josh Sitton had some harsh words about the Lions before their Thanksgiving matchup last season. He called their defense a bunch of scumbags.
Now, speaking of shitting the bed, the Packers went out and did just that in the game following Sitton’s comments.
But the Lions defense is pretty much the same and so are Sitton’s feelings about them. However, he was a bit more diplomatic this time around, saying “it’s pretty much the same defense; it’s very similar,” then pleading the fifth when asked if that meant they were still a bunch of scumbags.
As long as Ndamukong Suh is part of the equation, then we would agree. The answer is an unequivocal yes.
A bunch of scumbags.
