Comments on: Three Quarterbacks for the Packers? Your Green Bay Packers: Telling It Like It Is Mon, 26 Jan 2015 16:04:01 +0000 hourly 1 By: knucklehead Fri, 22 Aug 2014 22:28:10 +0000 GBslacaker: You have to be fucking kidding me. You aren’t “concerned about QBs.”???!!!!
What the fuck man. Did you watch last season? That was a total shit show when we were reduced to the Seneca Wallace gimp show. We absolutely need 3 QBs available. The Favre iron man days are over, say what you want about that fucker but he took his licks on the field like no one else and stayed in. We have a quarterback who is human now when it comes to injuries. He will get hurt again and we need viable backups.
And I really don’t understand all this trust in Tolzien shit. He was horrific last year, it was like having Brandon Weeden or some shit in there. He couldn’t even get the damned ball over the D-line.
Flynn can win.

By: GBslacker Fri, 22 Aug 2014 18:45:13 +0000 I keep hearing that they’re neck and neck… if so, why keep two, if the talent is so similar? The Pack has rolled with two before; I don’t think Rodgers’ injury makes him any more susceptible to future health concerns.

I’ve heard that Flynn “scores” — but his passes look so much weaker. To me, it looks like he seldom hits players in-stride, in their route — perhaps resorting to dink&dunkers. He seems to be reticent throwing the ball — maybe that’s why his throws look weak: he waits too long and then has a longer throw to make when he finally pulls the trigger.

I’m not concerned about QBs.
My biggest concerns:
–Will Sherrod suffice in spot duty?
–Will any of the lower-tier OLBs develop into *somthing* ?
–Can weaknesses at ILB be covered up? (I’d be in favor of some kind of “dime” or “quarter” — where HHCD and Richardson team up, and replace the ILBs completely)

By: the real russ letlow Fri, 22 Aug 2014 15:04:55 +0000 with the additional 2 practice squad slots, I think that enables us to keep 3 QBs. We have to make 7 of the 53 inactive every week, regardless. That third QB is one of the 7. The 2 additional PS spots allows TT & MM to keep 2 talented players that need a little more seasoning to make the 53. Don’t know if it will happen, but I’m all for it!
