Apparently, there has been enough talk of Julius Peppers dogging it that someone finally asked him about it.
Well, guess what. This is the preseason. It doesn’t count. Julius Peppers doesn’t play in the preseason. Julius Peppers will start playing when he feels like it, thank you very much.
That was pretty much what Peppers had to say about that. It was kind of reminiscent of this.
We talking about preseason. Not a game. We talking about preseason.
Here’s Peppers’ actual “practice” quote.
“Preseason is what it is. We’re going to get through that,” Peppers said. “Eventually we’re going to have real games for everybody to talk about.”
Yeah. That’s right!
So let’s a least wait around until the regular season to tell Julie he’s dogging it, okay?
