Jeremy Butler

The Green Bay Packers continued their trend of bringing in small school prospects for pre-draft visits with receiver Jeremy Butler and cornerback Brandon Dixon, on Monday.

Butler played at Tennessee-Martin and Dixon at Northwest Missouri State.

Both guys will be late-round picks or undrafted free agent signees.

In 2013, Butler had 90 catches for 1,203 yards and 10 touchdowns. At 6-2, 224 he’s a big, strong possession-type receiver. He doesn’t offer much in the speed department.

Although Dixon played in Division II, he was invited to the combine. He ran a 4.41 40 there, which was one of the faster overall times.

Dixon had one pick as a senior and four as a junior. He was, however, considered a shutdown corner (at least at the Division II level).

Of the two, Dixon looks like he has a better chance of being drafted.
