The Bears may make the playoffs only WITHOUT their starting QB.

Even with Rodgers we were low on red zone efficiency and having trouble with the defense.

In turn, Brady had one of his worst yearly stats this year, due to inexperienced WRs. They relied heavily on their running game, making him less critically necesary. Gronk was lost, and with him, a great blocking and receiving TE and also the best safety valve for their offense. Wilfork was injured and the run defense plummeted. STILL, they made it 12-4… without needing to say “but if X or Y or Z was healthy …”

If Brady got hurt, Ryan Mallet isn’t leading them to a 12-4 record. Good comparison tho…

The Patriots finished with a 12-4 record with key players down.
We made the playoffs courtesy of the Lions and Bears being even worse! Our record was not that of a true playoffs team.

What a shame…

Insted, the Packers went to achieve a… uh… nevermind.

Cutty is my second favorite Packer.

Eventually the competition will catch up and surpass you…it’s easy to play it safe. It takes guts and balls to put it on the line each year and go for Championships. But, what do the naysayers know…Rodgers will play at an elite level into his late 30s, right?

I digress…Ted has had a decent offseason for once, except for overpaying a good (but not top 2) cover corner. He better hit a grand slam in that draft, however.

Denver, New England, New Orleans, Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, the Giants, and now Chicago. None of them make the playoffs without their starting QB.
