That Imminent B.J. Raji Deal Isn’t Imminent After All
Free agency hasn’t even started yet and we’re already tired of the Green Bay Packers inability to get anything done. It’s going to be a long offseason. That one-year deal with B.J. Raji that was supposedly close to being done? Not close to being done after all!
Woooooooooo! Go Pack Go!
Packers DT BJ Raji plans to spend next few days gauging value. Nothing imminent. Could return on 1-year deal depending on interest elsewhere

Raji was reportedly set to sign a one-year, $4 million deal with the Packers on Thursday. He was going to do that because he sucked ball sack in 2013 and realized no one was going to pay him any substantive amount of money.
Now, like all of the Packers’ other free agents, he’s going to test the market. It’s like they’re colluding — hey, let’s show these pricks they can’t lowball us anymore!
Look, we could frankly give two shits if Raji’s fat ass is back on the Packers or not. He hasn’t played well since 2010. What does suck offseason after offseason is sitting around and hearing the Packers are actually going to make a move and do SOMETHING or even ANYTHING and then they somehow aren’t able to do so.
Being that it’s a constant theme, you might begin to think there’s a certain degree of ineptness involved. But nooooooo, the Packers are clearly just being cautious.
Slow and steady wins the race!
Anyway, we fully expect Raji will find out he’s worth next to nothing on the open market and come back to the Packers. That apparently won’t happen until next week at the earliest, however.
