[tps_title]9. Desmond Bishop[/tps_title]
Man, when we were initially compiling this list, we totally forgot about Desmond Bishop, who just joined the Minnesota Vikings this season after six seasons in Green Bay.
There’s probably good reason for that. Bishop was only a part-time player with the Vikings and then he injured his knee in October and was lost for the season.
He only made five tackles before that.
Bishop had some solid seasons in Green Bay. His best came in 2011, when he had 115 tackles, five sacks and two forced fumbles. In 2012, he got injured in the preseason and spent the season on injured reserve.
And then Big Ted gave him the old heave ho this past offseason. Bishop didn’t really have a lot of suitors, but of course one of them was the Vikings because… well, they’re the Vikings.
Bishop signed a one-year deal there and it will probably be his only season playing for that crap organization.
