Darren Sharper had himself a pretty nice career with the Green Bay Packers. Eight seasons, 36 interceptions, five touchdowns, two Pro Bowls and one first-team All Pro.
And then he flushed that all down the toilet by signing with the Vikings in 2006. Sharper played four seasons for those turds and was just about as successful — 18 picks, three touchdowns, two Pro Bowls.
Sharper would finish his career with the Saints in 2010.
Why is he so high on this list? Because Sharper is a man without a team.
You would consider most guys who play several seasons for the Packers and have some success Green Bay Packers for life. I don’t consider Darren Sharper anything.
He hasn’t been a part of the organization since he retired. He certainly didn’t retire as a Packer like Longwell did. He’s just Darren Sharper, pretty boy and NFL talking head.
