Greg Jennings Will Not Mention Aaron Rodgers By Name

Greg Jennings

Well, it didn’t take Greg Jennings long to become a douche. Actually, that happened the minute he signed with the Minnesota Vikings, but he’s really upping the ante lately.

Jennings refused to mention Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers by name in a recent interview with the Pioneer Press. He was also quick to pick Brett Favre as the better quarterback.

“When you talk about comparing quarterbacks, it’s hard to compare guys,” Jennings said. “I’ll take Brett. He did it for so long. I got there in a period of time where Brett already was there (as an elite quarterback). Then the guy they have now, he sat behind Brett and he learned so much.

“Christian (Ponder) didn’t really have that opportunity. He had to jump in. The way you compare them has to be a little different. The guy they have now (Rodgers) was (essentially) a veteran rookie. It’s a little different, but Christian has tremendous upside. I think what I see now is a quarterback who’s maturing and who’s growing and wanting to learn and grow, which is huge.”

Notice how he keeps saying “the guy they have now?”

Which guy?

You mean Aaron Rodgers?

Jennings doesn’t mention the Packers by name in the interview either. He simply refers to his former team as “them.”

Think that’s intentional? We do.

Things Greg Jennings will not be saying this season:
    1) “Aarron Rodgers”
    2) “Thanks for all the TD passes Christian”

I used to think that Jennings wasn’t holding anything against the Packers because he had done what he needed to do in Green Bay and that he just wanted the money. Now it’s starting to sound like there really is some resentment going on here. Just what the hell happened?

This comment really shouldn’t surprise anyone. The dude is straight up selfish. One of the first comments he made when he signed with MIN was about how he wants 100 receptions and how the Packers had to many weapons, which made him feel less important.

    Whatta tool…

I hope Hayward or House come across the middle & stick the crown o their helmet into his facemask.

We already know this Sally is injury-prone…

He was joking. It was a response to Aaron Rodgers saying “Who?” In response to a question about Jennings. This is a non-story.

Here’s to rodgers having 9 tds,700 yards passing, 0 picks, 2 wins, and his belt move this year against the pukes

this is really dissappointing to see happening. it is a really big let down that greg jennings is acting like that. obviously rodgers is a better quaterback than farve ever was, and is, arguably, the best quarterback in history. maybe that is stretching it a little bit early in rodgers career. nevertheless, i thought jennings was more of a class act than what he is displaying now.

karma will come back to bite greg jennings in the ass. just watch… jennings will get hurt in training camp and never play for the vikings in a single game ever. Or at the very least, he will get hurt early in the season and average 2 or 3 games a year for the viqueens.

I think he is “nursing” an ankle right now. won’t really be able to talk crap when he’s sitting on the sideline in street clothes during the season.

If there was ever a doubt,

    Any question whatsoever,

    The smallest, most remote possibility,

Then Greg Jennings just removed it.

FACT – If you go to Minnesota you turn into an asshole.

Too bad that’s not true. Did Ryan Longwell turn into an asshole? No, he didn’t, and neither is Greg Jennings. Why don’t you find the whole interview instead of this small portion of the article?

He learned quickly after donning the purple…
    Reason # 99 why #4 can’t be retired in lambeau….
How’s the petition action coming Herr Wolf

Meh, he’s now on the other team. I’m sure it’s more of a mental competitive state he puts himself into for him and his new team. It’s hard to be offended by this, but sucks he’s on that joke of a franchise.

Y’all Bunch Of Cry Babiess Hee Obviouslyy Had Somee Sort Off Fugee Withh Aaron Rodgers ! He’s Gone Move On !

  13. tedtomato

Wow..who let da dipshit in? Itd be different if he signed with the fuckin dolphins..but to say you want to play for a team with a decent quarterback..and..obviously only go to the purple pukes because of the money..and to be a douche..then thats what we’ll call him..a DOUCHE! Got it mentally dumb guy?

  14. Just goes to show the another man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and the closest any Vikings fan will ever come to seeing a Superbowl ring is on the finger of an ex-Packer.

All the constipated cheeseheads are still crying. There really is no surprise as to why Packer players go to Minnesota. Theyre just better. Always have been. 18 division titles to GB 13-14? GB still playing catch up in the North. A team with no mascot and really no sense of purpose. Leave to a GB writer to find something to cry over. You want some kleenex and a punch in the balls to take your mind off your sniveling? SKOL

Wait how many Superbowls have the viqueens won?

Hold on let me rephrase that….. How many Superbowls have the Vikings attended? 4

And they have lost…….. ALL OF THEM.

Really funny when a viqueen fan chirps up – especially one so young to not even know that the very best viqueens (i.e. Tarkenton and Eller) – couldn’t even pull off a single win when it really mattered 4 times!!!!

  16. Andrew

You guys are all retarded. This was taken from another interview. This is just a small portion of the full interview, but of course, all of you Packer fans have to take everything to heart. Greg Jennings is a classy guy, and you are all being the stupid fuckhead Packer fans everyone hates. Go pray to your Aaron Rogers shrines and stop being so butthurt

    • Mauler

Hey – he chased the bigger paycheck. That’s really the bottom line, right? What would the rest of us do – maybe the same thing…… But think about it – he’ll (probably) finish out his career with the Vikes and very well could spend his post NFL days wondering if it was the best move to get an extra few million or two……with an ending like this….playing for a mediocre team….kind of sad. I actually feel kind of bad for him….
