they can still fix the Oline...there are some really good prospects available in the Draft. If they pick up Jackson cheap...i am all for it. And getting a good RB will make Defenses pay attention..and get them off of Rodgers for a while anyway...right now, defenses are going to go after Rodgers no matter what...even if you have superman on the oline...the are going to go after Rodgers. So maybe by getting a formidable RB in the mix....would force defenses to ease up on Rodgers a bit...imo.

I have been a Steven Jackson fan since he came into the league. He comes from a military family and is reported to be a very upstanding person and teammate. He has played for some pretty shitty St. Louis teams and handled it all with class and dignity.

We sign this guy I will have his Packer Jersey in 2 days....

Pollard would be beyond huge. Having him would make that secondary scary again. Who knows what it's going to look like with Shields, Tramon, Burnett, Heyward or whoever but signing a safety with experience and a proven track record would be enormous.

I agree totally on the DT front. We need a pass rushing presence up front to compliment Raji and Matthews. How long has it been since we've had a legit pass rushing force at D-end?

This guy is spot on...very well done. I also now like the idea of signing Jackson to a reasonable deal and then go get Bernard Pollard please!!! Had no idea that tackling, loud mouth, machine would be available. Burnett at FS and Pollard at SS??? Ahhhh...one can only dream. He separates receivers from the football, is a great locker room guy (well for a couple years anyway) and he knocks people out of games with legal hits (see Steven Ridley, Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski).

Previously I was all for taking a D Lineman and I still would if it was an affordable, rotation guy but the idea of having another tackles for loss or smack you over the middle guy like Pollard changes my priority. 2 years/ 14M, all guaranteed.
