I think we had to hear about the prospect of Gilbert Brown coming back up to 10 years after he retired.

Yeah, Jenkins brings a little attitude that the Packers could use. I would be glad to see him back for less than $3 million a season, but let’s not turn the guy into something he isn’t. Cullen’s best talent is getting to the passer, and the Packers were 4th in sacks last season. Not exactly what they need.

Personally, I think RJF is more of what the Packers need.

I’d welcome Jenkins back with open arms. And his agent is right, he never wanted to leave Green Bay. as a matter of fact he offered a hometown discount back then. Bring the man back, he’s a player.

If they can’t work something out with Canty, RJF then and only then does Cullen become a more real option for us. He’s still productive for his age and this position, DL, in particular seems to have more career longevity to it than other “need” areas such as RB, where the collisions come more often and shorten careers.

I still agree that something must be done about our training staff. We either have drafted “softer” guys or they are not doing a good enough job stretching these guys out for game day or even padded practices for that matter. I’m telling you YOGA is the answer! Meditate on that…
