You’ll Never Guess Why Aaron Rodgers Will Have a Bad Season
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers will have a down 2013 season, according to Gary Grinberg, also known as Gary the Numbers Guy. Grinberg is a numerologist who also uses astrology to predict sports outcomes (among other things) and he says Rodgers won’t reach his usual heights in 2013 because he was born in 1983.
It turns out 1983 was the Year of the Pig. This is the Year of the Snake.
Got that? Okay then…
“Pigs do very, very poorly in Snake years. I’d say about 90 percent of Pigs will not do well in Snake Years,” he says. “Rodgers — his best days are behind him. I would not be surprised if the Packers don’t even make the playoffs next year. Aaron Rodgers is going to have an off year.”
Right now, you’re asking yourself, “What is this hogwash?” We did that too, but it turns out this dude has made a number of predictions based on this mumbo jumbo that turned out to be correct.
He predicted a Heath-Thunder NBA Finals matchup last February, a great season from Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in August and that Adrian Peterson would have one of his best pro seasons back in September.
We’re sure Gary has gotten plenty wrong too, but he’s made some interesting sports predictions that turned out to be right, so it bears watching.
Our guess is, if Rodgers has a bad season it’s because the organization doesn’t put an adequate offensive line in front of him.
