Then on that characteristic, TT was wrong. MM has a lot of great attributes, and I think he’s a great Monday to Saturday coach, but the guy and the team are inarguably soft. That’s the whole thesis of the subject under discussion.

Re-read the post, then you’ll get my position within that context. It’s about the tough talk idea when you’re really a pussy. Kind of like you.

And as to whether MM could’ve kicked my ass, I don’t know. But I do know I would’ve gotten my cuts in. There’s a reason for the nickname.

No, you are soft…Legendary FB Heath Evans explained that in their 5 or so losses, they were all to run the ball first teams who don’t zone block, they POWER block. The key here is to not over reach. Just focus on getting more scheme versatile playmakers at all levels of the defense and offense, and you’ll be fine…easier said than done, er?

MM grew up in Pittsburgh and was favored by TT because of his toughness.

When I hear him talk on this point, MM reminds me of the fat, stupid kid we all knew on the playground at school that thought he was tough, but on the rare occasions he actually got into a fight, all you had to do is drill him in the face the turn on the waterworks. Then a day later if you heard the kid talk, you’da thought he’da kicked everyone’s ass.

MM’s soft and by extension so is his entire team – typically both lines get owned and opposing players usually get positive yards when they’re tackled. I’m just tired of seeing the Packers turned into bitches by teams that do have some sand.

Being “soft” is one of those sports euphemisms with basically no meaning.

It is like having “no chemistry” or “not being hungry” or being “old.”

All of these things amazingly only exist when you lose.

When you win, instead of having “no chemistry” you have “character.” Instead of “not being hungry” you are “like a machine.” Instead of being “old,” you are “experienced.”

I agree with MM. Watch the Packers physically dominate the Bears in Lambeau and the Texans in Houston- two physical teams. Then say they are “soft.”

San Fran beat the Packers because their QB was too fast for the Packer defense. Just ask Ray Lewis, being “tough” doesn’t help you when a guy runs right by you.

The Packers haven’t had a defense capable of winning a Super Bowl since 2010. That’s the problem. Period.

The rest is… intrigue.
