No, it is not a draft to trade up, at least not in the first round; it has been reported by multiple scouts and ‘draftniks’ that the teams drafting in the 20s will have an opportunity to draft players as talented as those just inside the top 10.

Any one choosing a center in the first round is foolish. The exception would be Cooper who is a highly rated guard that could also play center.
There will be a few good centers in later rounds of the draft. I like Madsen out of West Virgina. He finds a lot of fun in playing the game. That is always a good sign.

I still say they are looking hard at the interior linemen with that first pick–be it offense or defense. However, is this a draft perfectly set up for a move up? Rumor has it that teams in the Top 10-15 are looking to trade out, this year is no exception. Guess it all depends on how those value sheets work out.
