TT must have skipped the course on how to sign a big name free agent. If memory serves me, Wolf signed the most sought after free-agent in NFL history, Reggie White. That signing made Green Bay a more desirable destination for future free agents, including Santana Dotson and Sean Jones.

TT didn’t make room to land Ed Reed (I actually think Woodson has more left then him), Doshan Goldson, etc…

You need to recall that TT was trained by Ron Wolf. Wolf’s mantra was that it’s better to let a player go a year too early, than a year too late. That appears to be EXACTLY what happened here.
