Green Bay Packers Six Worst Contracts
Total contract: 5 years, $38.15 million
Average salary: $7.63 million
2013 cap number: $8.5 million
2012 stats: 61 tackles, 2 INTs
Tramon Williams was playing at a All Pro level two seasons ago and looked to be worth every bit of the five-year, $38 million deal he signed prior to the 2010 season. One year of injury-riddled, subpar play and another of mediocrity and that assessment has changed. Williams currently has the third-highest base salary on the Packers for 2013 and he’s not even their best cornerback. Pretty simply, Williams hasn’t played up to his contract. However, he’s hard to cut considering the Packers still own him $2.4 million of his $6 million signing bonus.
