I’d just like Ted to draft guys who were more consistent at winning one on ones in college- not players who flashed ability and then disappeared for long lengths of time during games (see Nick Perry). Draft a few guys like that, even if they only play limited snaps, at least you get a quality snaps when their rotating on the D Line for example. I agree, we need to move on from higher salary players who are not necessary and find some more playmakers via FA. If we do, we are right back in the Championship mix.

I’ve been saying this for a while now. I certainly believe you have to look at Capers body of work. But you also have to consider if his style of defense is going to work in the future. 3 of the last 4 years it hasn’t been that great.

But, come’ on. Just because McCarthy didn’t fire Capers, himself, and everyone else on the Packers coaching staff doesn’t mean that things are not going to change.

If Raji stays then his contract needs to be a reflection of his performance over the last 2 season.

I forgot the premise of my original post. The 2nd loss to the 9ers was a failure on the organization from top to bottom. The players needed on the field weren’t there, the coaches didn’t employ a winning game plan (nor made the correct adjustments), and the core guys on defense did not show up.
