Here. McCarthy throwing the challenge flag was a totally moronic thing to do. He should know better. Not only did that happen in Detroit, as chronicled here, but he got flagged for it in the preseason as well.

HOWEVER, that doesn’t seal his fate as a buffoon. He made an emotional decision. It was wrong. We all do this- including players, coaches, etc. MM is far from perfect, but he’s a damn good coach and whatever he is doing is working. We are in the playoffs, right? For the 4th straight year, right?

This team is simply not physical on defense—AT ALL. And due to injuries, they are not able to protect the best QB in the game. They will beat the Queens in the rematch at Lambeau but that’s it. They cannot and will not beat the 49ers and the Seahawks or Falcons in back to back weeks on the road. They will not because Ted sucks at player evaluations and can’t build us a tough, physical team on either side of the ball. They played scared and will play that way from here on out because that’s who and what they are. There are no huge Richard Sherman, Browner safeties here, there are no San Fran LBs here, there are no Vince Wilforks here…just a bunch of athletic “dudes” who can’t play physical–that won’t get it done 4 weeks in a row, let alone 2 in the playoffs.

It took a monumental effort for the Vikes to eke one out against the Packers. Clearly, the Packers D did not come to play their best football. Yes, injuries are part of that but as I saw it, if the Packers gave maybe 20% more effort on defense, they would’ve been the ones escaping with a victory. The troubling thing that was revealed is that we still don’t have a competent replacement to Nick Collins leadership in the back end and we have very avg. depth across our D Line. Looks like Ted may have missed on a few of the defensive draft reaches. Oops.

Also, can you look up how many Superbowls Frazier has won as a HEAD COACH for the VIKINGS? Just double check for me since I am often wrong.

Then look up how many Green Bay has won and then crosscheck with the total amount the Vikings have won.

And since you asked, I was popping bottles in hot tubs at 15! Can you believe that? But look man, a quick glance at your Facebook profile and it’s pretty obvious that whatever you thing is has made you very, very wealthy. MM and Rodgers both complained that the refs weren’t getting the ball spotted quickly enough, which is why Rodgers kept running out of time at the line.

Frankly, the refs looked like replacement refs all game. They were slow to spot the ball, refused to call any penalties, and their call of a fumble on Jones TD was laughable.

I agree that MM got DAMN lucky on the challenge of that play. Basically, I believe the NFL didn’t want a repeat of D-troi. Frankly, I was shocked MM would be as big of an idiot as Jim Schwartz.

Regardless, it wasn’t MM refusing to tackle out there. THAT was the difference in the game. The offense scored 34 points.
