Ok…1st…Rodgers best game was against Houston……The Cobb pass off the punt to Jeremy Ross was Slocum, and McCarthy…you want to give Rodgers time for his ankle?…Put in Harrell and call a running play….duh……….Think about this…your up 11points, Grant just fumbled….and you want a trick play with Jeremy Ross?, who has never caught a pass in a NFL game in his life. There was NO upside to that play…NONE…(btw..Cobb’s pass was perfect, went right through Ross’s hands and hit him in the stomach. But that play on a 1-10 scale? = (-5)… That play, and McCarthy sticking with Crosby makes me question, w t f is McCarthy thinking sometimes?…Loyalty is great and everything….but missing 12 field goals?..and NOT bringing anyone in?….NO kicker keeps their job in the NFL kicking 58% field goals….NOBODY…..C”MON MAN!!!!

wasn’t like it was cobb’s call. when a coach tells you to do something, you do it, its pretty much that simple. obviously a dumbass call but when you hear MM talk about it after the game, i can come a little closer to almost understanding it (but barely…) in that he was concerned about a-rod’s ankle – which was hurt on the series before it – and wasn’t sure if he would be able to get offensive production from that point on, and it was still a one series game.

like i said, dumb as shit, but not on cobb, that was MM – in his own words “that certainly wasn’t a highlight of my coaching career.”
