All I know is the proliferation of injuries makes me crazy. Imagine the team we could have out there–Matthews, Perry, Desmond Bishop, Cedric Benson, Jordy Nelson, Shields, Woodson, Bulaga, and on it goes. Imagine too what our record might look like with those players in the lineup.

2012 is worse than 2010.

And its mostly because of, as previously mentioned, the guys who have and are missing time but aren’t on I.R.

Matthews, Woodson, and Jennings have already missed a combined 16 games. Raji missed two, Shields has missed half of the year, Jordy, CJ Wilson and Lang are out now.

I know Matthews and #12 each missed a game and a half in 2010, which royally fucked us, but I still don’t think it compares.

losing Desmond Bishop sucks fucking balls. Jermichael finley was the biggest injury of 2010, and morgan burnett’s injury was depressing, but Bulaga, Bishop, Perry, Benson, and DJ Smith hurts more than Finley, Burnett, Grant, Barnett and Tauscher.

I’d say Iltarion has a point. Say Rodgers goes down for 4 games. Does it always come down to the numbers and stats?
Some injuries are more important than others. I’m surprised that a person who reads an NFL blog doesn’t understand that.
