For the record, once you log in under my name & regardless of whether you make a stupid post, it is no longer my name, it is yours! I then am forced to seek a new name, in this case I chose one that has been abandoned due to cowardice. I will bring honor to my new name & have been posting with it for weeks now. As for the “Fail Mary” call, many calls went for & against each team. Refs gave & took away that game. Every team has had a “worst call ever.” Suck it up, be a man & quit bitching about it. Look to the present & the future where the real probability of the Packers winning out, impact players returning in time & GB making a serious Playoff run.

Peterson agreed Saturday to a contract extension with the Vikings that includes $36 million in guaranteed money and as much as $100 million over the next seven years if he plays that long with Minnesota. A league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Peterson will receive $40 million over the first three years of the deal.

Peterson also will get $1 million each time he rushes for at least 1,250 yards, a source familiar with the contract told ESPN’s Schefter. Peterson has done that in each of his first four seasons, when the fewest rushing yards he had in any season was 1,298. Under the terms of his contract, Peterson can do this three times for $3 million total. He also has another $1 million in incentives based on the Vikings’ regular-season and playoff results over the life of the contract.

5) Agreed – Anyone else think this training/medical staff is the culprit? How does Greg Jennings go from week to week to surgery? Cedric Benson from “possible week 13 return” to IR (this move could end up killing GB) and now Nelson is continually hurt?

This medical staff is pathetic. There isn’t any other way to say it.
