This is a rare surprising move. One would have to think that the injury to Bulaga plays a role. If the Packers could get a functional Derek Sherrod back at ANY time this season, the timing couldn’t be better.

I have seen some fans take shots at Sherrod for how long it is taking for him to return. I assume those fans didn’t see the play where Sherrod’s leg was snapped like a twig in two places. Still less than a year ago.

This is an unexpected ending to the preseason story of Borel and Gurley. Both expected to be somebody. Both ultimately released. The end.

We’ve proven that we can plug anyone into a reciever position & be successful.
Example: Cobb, Jones & Driver in for Nelson & Jennings…
The second most important position on our offense is probably Left Tackle & then maybe Center

I hope Sherrod becomes a top-flight left tackle. He was a 1st round draft pick & needs to live up to that.
Look at the Eagles rite now. Be happy thats not our situation at offensive line.
