If I was “a nobody” on the Packers. I would have several jersey sizes with me and give my jersey to the kid that had me ride his bike.

I wouldn’t make him wear it… but at least he’d have the option.

And on another note… how does a grown 200-250+ man comfortably ride a tiny kids bike… maybe this is why our roster is chock full of injured players?

True story. The Bears long snapper, Patrick Mannelly has an older brother that went to Notre Dame on a full ride football scholarship, but pro football wasn’t his future. Patrick, on the other hand went to that football powerhouse Duke as a walk on, had a reasonably successful career in college but due to his special teams play was drafted and has wound up playing for the Bears for 15 years as their long snapper. He is the longest tenured player in Bears history.

Moral of the story – If you have a big kid, teach him to be a long snapper. It’s the most secure job in pro football and pays a mill a year.
