Holding NO to 27 pts is like holding a crap team like the Vikings to 10. The Packers clearly dominated the game. The score didn't reflect how the game went. Case in point, Green Bay couldn't be stopped for a field goal. NO kicked 3. Not to mention the Graham no catch and the Sproles fumble. GB 30 -NO 23 would have been the score had the Saints not got away with shenanigans.

D. J. WIlliams out of favor? Are you sure? He played well at Seattle. If I am not mistaken Tom Crabtree was inactive that game. Has something happened?

I agree, not to mention they held the Saints to 27 points (7 on OPI) as opposed to 40-some; that's not awful.

Well packers defense played well because they played a lot of man to man and man under. However in the saints game they almost always played zone. Packers suck at zone.

I don't know how much of the defensive collapse was scheme, and how much was the players. Surely Shields FUBAR was on him, but why would the coaches continue to let Marques Colston get off the line without being harrassed? If you're afraid of getting beat deep, just put the safeties over the top and play underneath - just like we did against Brandon Marshall.

This win didn't do much to instill a lot of confidence in me.

we gotta give the D a little slack on this game. I agree - they gave up alot of yardage. A few really bad plays. But I watched the game live and it just didn't seem as bad as the stats suggest. Coach mentioned that too. They looked to be playing fast and agressive. It just did not remind me of last year. Brees is a VERY good QB, so lets give him some credit too.
