I really didn’t read those posts, I think the cheese hat is the dumbest thing ever invented, I grew up in Sconni and live in the twin cities metro ( hence the Viking fan dislike) I’ve been to Afghanistan twice and kicked some ass for America, and I dislike smart asses like you. I like that! I knew you were still reading my posts! Your statement of “I didn’t even read the last 5 cry me a river’s posts” was a feeble, classic defense mechanism of denial (you being outwitted, outmatched & outgunned does suck, best just to pretend it didn’t happen). Now your using baseless accusatory grandstanding upon a podium, & doing so with all the fervor & pious ramblings of a Southern Baptist minister (& we know how far out of touch with reality they are). I do know you! Your intelligence & ability to read people is questionable. Your an Ostrich, who prefers to bury his head in the sand & deny reality that doesn’t go your way (or is that a petulant child? I forget!). Scratch the child, It’s gotta be an Ostrich with a fat body & a skinny head! And, you live in Minnesota. Vikings loyalty? Yea, maybe! It would explain your hatred or, in this case, self-hatred! Oh wait, scratch that as well cause you wear a wedge of cheese on your head, don’t you? Actually, given your history of denial, the cheese wedge make perfect sense; what better way to repress your Viking loyalty & low self-esteem than proudly conforming to the customs & norms of the big boys (Packers) on the block (NFC North)!

You can save the moral grandstanding & the politically correct, non-judgmental pretense! I have read your statements: you hate Viqueens & their fans. Vi”queens” is a direct, derogatory connotation to feminism & loudly states timorous weakness. That’s completely judgmental! Save that shit & recognize DD operates from insecurity, anger & resentment. And why not? The Vikings are perennial doormats that always implode, have very little hope of ever being true contenders (at least deep in the playoffs) & will always promise utopia, to their fans, to viciously rip asunder any remnant or last vestige of hope!

Excellent points! I totally agree with the Rodgers “evolution!” In 2008, Rodgers entered the starting spot & had a pretty good year overall though he demonstrated the pressure awareness of a rock. What is often missed in that first season is that Rodgers finished with the 98th highest number of pass attempts/season by any quarterback in NFL history, the number of sacks in that season & the first part of 09′ were also among historical rates. Those aren’t the qualities you look for in your first year as a starter, particularly one where you’ve gone 6-10. Yes, he was showing that pin-point accuracy (the Pack kept him throwing it), but the pressure awareness & being able to get rid of the ball was racking up the hits he was taking behind the line of scrimmage. If you aren’t aware of what’s happening around you, the speed of the NFL will kill you. Rodgers benefited greatly spending a few years on the bench, waiting for his instincts to catch up to an NFL pass rush. When you rebuild a team, you do not start with the quarterback as the “first piece of the puzzle” waiting for the team around them to be put in place. It has a very low success rate. To do it right, you start with the lines, both offensive & defense, work on the rest of the defense next. Then, as the offensive line gels, you work on the running & receiving game. I argue Favre was kept around to take the hits surrounded by a very young offense, only to be jettisoned when the Packers felt Rodgers (& his supporting cast) were ready. I feel the Tampa Bay debacle of 09′ was the transition to a highly competitive team that has not had to look back since.
