You forget that Green Bay had Mark Brunell waiting in the wings. I think that he would have been a better fit and the Pack would have won multiple Super Bowls in the 90s.

There is also a guy named Matt Hasselbeck who backed up Brett 10 years ago. Ironic because he got screwed out of a Super Bowl win.

I remember, not so long ago, when the Packers were perennial doormats (enjoying just 2 double-digit wins spanning 25 year)! Favre changed all of that, created an atmosphere of competition & restored former Packer glory (which hadn’t been seen since Augustus Caeser 1st solidified power) & you slight the one guy who facilitated your right to brag? Philadelphia Eagles fans have more class than that!
