Mr. Lynn Fuckin' Dickey,
I have heard of Cam Newton! He's the guy who looked prolific, went 6-10 with wins over Jaguars, Redskins, Buccaneers (2x), Colts & Texans! Now I'll concede the Texans were strong but these other "choices" you make reference too belies your Cam Newton statement. Rookie QB's can look good, so can M. Vick (on occasion)! But against a prolific team, hmm? Not quite sure how you made the Wilson/Defense correlation so i'll leave that alone. May I ask one thing of you Mr. Dickey? What was your stance in last year's playoff game GB vs. NY when Rodgers threw an interception that was overturned due to (pro?) referee phantom-call ineptitude? It benefitted the Pack & I'm speculating you remained quiet on the subject or later decried Packer injustice after the mashing. I love fan blog posts, the opinions are heavily biased, the assessments amusing, interesting & impassioned! Overall Pack, your a great bunch of fans (except your excessive waste of time bashing Vikings fans, STOP! You sound like Vikings except your team is no longer in the perennial doormat category thanks to your "hated" hero Favre (& Holmgren), who broke the 25 year drought & created an atmosphere of competitive spirit)!

Thats what I saw too. Three bad calls in a row that led to the so called TD.
I also don't understand McCart. First week I thougt this gonna be a troublesome season . Then in week 2 suddenly there was a defense and..a running game .Week 3 no running game 1fst half and things went bad again.
Rodgers looks like he lost it . Hope it will come back soon.

Great post, Ryan. Best one on here.

There is actually a lot of positives to take away from that 2nd half. That was a playoff contender in their house, and the Packers completely dominated them in the 2nd half. The only score Seattle had in the 2nd half was an INT by the Pack.

The Packers' secondary played brilliantly all game, except for two plays, and the run defense really stiffened in the 2nd half.

Jerron McMillian and Craig Hayward. Obvious and immediate improvements to our defense. Nice to have 2010 Sam Shields back.

Hey, the offense even showed up for 3 drives in the 2nd half. Mostly thanks to the return of the MVP and Benson.

MM admitted after the game that he waited too long to make adjustments. No one is perfect, but it takes a man to admit his mistakes. Like a lot of people, I too was going crazy over the refusal to run the ball in the 1st half, but really, it is tough to run the ball when it is 2nd and 20. That seemed to happen an awful lot.

Joint possession hinges on the ball to the chest, if both players have the ball to their chest it's joint possession, if only one it's not. You could make a case that it was an incomplete pass, never a touchdown. If that's a TD it sets a terrible precedent.

Also Cry Me A River, thanks for informing me that Russel Wilson plays Defence! In case you didn't see last year, plenty of good teams lost to rookie QBs. There's this guy named Cam Newton perhaps you've heard of him. Or maybe Andy Dalton? T.J. Yates? QB isn't everything, it's a team sport.

it was a touchdown. i am an impartial fan. look at jennings feet. he has only one foot down and the one foot way up in the air. by the time his second foot comes down that golden tate chap has two hands on the ball. joint possession = touchdown.

Exactly, you don't risk batting at it when it's four on one coverage in the corner. That's what the Titans did on Sunday and Titus Young nabbed it sending the game into OT.

You are a total moron. Last year the defense was awful. This year, they've been quite good. This has nothing to do with Capers. Holding a team to 7 points (or even 14) is a good night.

There is no reason to be calling for Capers head right now.

And frankly, I think he made the right play there. I don't think knocking the ball down would have worked as there were people everywhere. It would have been almost impossible to knock it down. It probably would have been knocked into a Seattle receivers hands and been a real touchdown.
