with those 4 OLBs (Clay, Perry, Walden & Moses) I think a rotation might work really well. Keep fresh legs opposite of Clay and we'll be getting a lot of sacks. Daniels, raji & Worthy pushed the middle too, and that sure helps.

It is kind of sad that it took 1 game into the regular season to figure out that Sam Shields is a better CB than Jarrett Bush and that Jerron McMillian is a better safety than MD Jennings.

Isn't that what the preseason is for?

Nick Perry had a sore wrist, which limited his snaps, but I think the Packers will probably rotate at LOLB all season. Perry's bull rush is more effective after Walden and Moses have used their speed rushes a couple times.

Let me start by saying that a win over there Bears is at least four times as enjoyable as a regular season victory over any other team. Nothing but tumbleweeds in Chicago today, and that's what I have come to expect and enjoy. These twats invade your personal space and talk shit all week long, but once your team beats them, they don't want to hear it back. It's incredibly calming, actually.

1. Give Cedric at least twenty carries per game and don't act surprised when he produces.

2. See my comment from a few posts ago. The guy is a chump and totally unfit to wear our uniform. Our 'elite' tight end is barely average.
I bet if you asked DJ Williams, he'd tell you he is more than capable of hauling in half the catchable balls thrown his way. That's surely enough to replace Finley's production, at a fraction of the cost. I am so god damn tired of talking about eighty-eight. Cut your losses with him at the end of this year, not next. That's why Ted structured his contract that way.

3. Fucking stud. I hate it when people quote Rounders, but, "Pay that man his money."

4. Monty's last sentence says what I have been saying since he was traded to Chicago. Talk all you want about his rocket arm and quick release, the guy has only one pitch, to use a baseball term. I still blame Marshall for the endzone drop, but any semblance of touch from Jay and that's a game-changing touchdown.
Mechanics and skill aside, the guy is King Douchebag and certainly no leader.

5. We got what was expected from our star defensive backs, but, as Monty pointed out, it is usually a great and telling sign when the names of the others are not mentioned during the course of a game.

In closing, fuck the Bears and I'm glad I wasn't one of the cliff-jumpers last week. If our offense figures their shit out, we are Super Bowl contenders. The Bears, they have a much longer road.

The offense is going to be fine! Ced Ben is going to bring a dynamic to our offense that we have not had in a long time, IF our line can give him something to work with.

The best thing to take away from this game is how great our defense looked! Defense wins championships and if they can keep building off of last night we will tough to beat.

There is nothing better than seeing Jay Cutler pissed off

C-Wood's comments after the game were hilarious.

It is nice to get some shit going between us and the Bears. Let's rev this rivalry up a little. It isn't like we get much satisfaction out of destroying the hapless Vikes anymore.

Of course, I guess there is always the A-hole Lions.

After the game, dipshit Cutler was asked how he thought he played. He said, "Good and bad."

I guess I missed the the "good" part.

After one of his idiotic INTs, one of his lineman should have gotten in his face and started screaming at him.
