I agree with that – but only to a point. If we could run the ball in the 3rd and 4th quarters and take time off the clock, we would take a lot of pressure off our defense. It allows the O Line an opportunity to be physical, and it keeps the opposing defense honest. You can’t just rush the passer all the time.
