Everybody knows that Brian Brohm didn’t even get a first chance at Green Bay! Folks in Green Bay are saying that Harrell deserves a chance! What gives… Harrell gets a chance & Brohm gets no chance! Go figure…! Perhaps Brohm just wasn’t cheezy enough for Green Bay!

Pretty good debate here. Some folks for McCoy some against.

It makes sense the Packers pick up McCoy if they can get him for a 5, develop him and let him back up Rodgers for a year or two as cheap insurance while developing their other young quarterback, BJ Coleman. Coleman is bigger and stronger and ultimately better suited to backup Aaron Rodgers and maybe replace Rodgers in the distant future. In two years when Coleman is ready they trade McCoy to someone looking for a starter or good back up.

The Packers had a QB in Matt Flynn at that time who had been in the system for 4 years.

Colt McCoy or any of those other jokers? No comparison.

Harrell is the only guy that has any chance to look anything like Flynn did.

Let Harrell play with some NFL caliber WRs and OLs before talking crap about him

I have to disagree “Ill”tarion. Look at the Lion game last year. Yes the game didnt mean shit to either team, but the talent on our offense turned a so so QB named Matt Flynn into a 2012 starter and a multi-millionaire.

Could Graham come in and use our 1st team offensive talent to beat the Bears or the Lions like Flynn? No fucking way. Could Mccoy? Possibly.

And if Possibly gives us a chance at the playoffs or even a home playoff game absent Arodge then its worth taking a shot and picking him up.

This article and Adam Schefter show complete ignorance when it comes to the Packers.

This isn’t the Baltimore Ravens.

The Packers don’t run the ball and they don’t play defense.

They win games thanks to having the best QB and WR core in football.

Colt McCoy isn’t capable of keeping this team in shit. The Lions and Bears are in this division. Take A-Rodge off this team and it finishes 3rd in the division. Period.

Let’s say A-Rodge gets another concussion and is just out a couple games. If Harrell starts, they lose. If McCoy starts, they lose. If Wallace starts, they lose. If McNabb, or any other jackoff people can think of, starts, they lose. Same difference.

Next fricking question.

Harrell has looked pathetic, but I agree that the guys he is playing with aren’t helping him any. O-line was better than against SD, but the run blocking was still painful to watch. No run game makes the pass game harder. I’d give him a little more time, but I admit I’m a little nervous about him right now…..
