The pass rush, though admittedly piss poor, is somewhat overstated as a problem.

It is difficult to get sacks when WRs, TEs and RBs are wide open to throw to.

It is also difficult to get sacks when you are rushing 4 against max protect or rushing 3 against 6.

The Packers got 47 sacks in 2010 partially because they had Tramon, Woodson, Collins and Shields actually covering people.

The Packers will NOT finish in the Top 5 in defense. For one, their offense will not allow it. Secondly, they play the Lions and Bears twice, the Saints, 49ers, Giants, and Texans.

Your defensive ranking is often a reflection of who you play.
