At all the OTAS Wilson started in front of Wynn. He also got better throughout the season..
Wynn cant hold the run for squat.
In Merlings defense, he was cut from the Dolphins during weigh-ins this year and then signed by us, uum, how was he supposed to lose that weight in a matter of 1-2 weeks??? Surgery?! The Packers signed him full well knowing he was slightly overweight.
And finally this: When it’s all said and done, we expect the defensive line group to consist of Raji, Pickett, Worthy, Daniels, Wynn and Neal
Neal?? He doesn’t come back till week 5 at the earliest with the possibility of him getting a 2 week roster exemption so he can practice and return week 6… So your opening day roster will NOT have Neal counting against it. and barring injury will look more like Raji, Pickett, Worthy, Daniels, and potentially Wilson/Wynn unless one of those other guys makes it…
